Dredgepoint and EOD partner BITEK are developing a purpose built Ammunition Dredger. We named it Seabed eXplosives Dredger SXD™.

As Dredgers and Explosives don't mix, Dredgepoint had to invent an NEW DREDGING METHOD as well as a NEW PROPULSION SYSTEM because the known propulsions (Propellers, Spuds or anchors) were not suitable. The new SXD™ increases production by 500 - 800 % compared to known techniques, while the cost price per m³ drops to less than 20% of its present rating. The first SXD™ will be available for charter as from spring 2011.
